Mr. McGregor possesses 27 years of healthcare consulting experience for lawyers, insurance companies, government (CPP Disability), and industry. He has been in leadership roles throughout his career and has experience from Ontario to British Columbia.
Mr. McGregor has been qualified as an expert in Functional Capacity Evaluations and Life Care Plans in the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and in Functional Capacity Evaluations in the Ontario Superior Court. He has been retained on numerous high-profile cases in Canada and internationally.
Mr. McGregor’s consulting work has included developing disability management policies and procedures, testing protocols, job demands, and ergonomic programs for crown corporations, government departments, insurance companies, and large international companies.
Mr. McGregor has experience in the assessment and treatment of patients with traumatic brain injuries and previously developed occupational therapy programs at the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. He previously owned and operated a multidisciplinary physiotherapy rehabilitation facility in Calgary and was responsible for patient care and program delivery.

Mr. Berger has worked in rehabilitation since 1994 in clinical and community settings with pediatric and adult populations. He is a Certified Nurse Life Care Planner (CNLCP), Certified Lifetime Nurse Care Planner (LNCP-C), and a Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CCRC). He has prepared over 1,500 reports for litigation in two domains, life care plans and vocational evaluations. He has been qualified as an expert in determining future care needs and costs in the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Court of King’s Bench of Saskatchewan. He has further been qualified as an expert as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Vocational Evaluator in the Superior Court of Ontario and Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. Mr. Berger received an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Business Administration (Health Care Concentration), and a Graduate Certificate in Pain Management through the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta. He has received specific training, including coursework, psychometric test administration, a supervised 600-hour internship, and a national examination as a rehabilitation counselor. He holds a Senior Disability Analyst and Diplomate designation (Life Care Planning and Vocational Rehabilitation) through the American Board of Disability Analysts.

Ms. Wight is a registered and licensed occupational therapist in good standing with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
She received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen’s University in 2009 and a Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Ottawa in 2007. Ms. Wight is a Canadian Certified Life Care Planner (CCLCP) through the International Commission on Health Care Certification. She is also the regional manager of our Ontario division.
Ms. Wight’s professional practice has been in both the community and clinical settings, conducting assessments and providing treatment for both pediatric and adult populations, encompassing traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations, orthopaedics, and chronic pain. She has extensive experience assessing functional capacity and future care needs and costs in the context of insurance matters and personal injury litigation.
As an ongoing requirement for licensure and certifications, Ms. Wight maintains a substantial amount of annual continuing education hours. She has received Level 1 and 2 neurorehabilitation certifications through the Ontario Brain Injury Association as well as certification in the Progressive Goal Attainment Program. She was involved in developing a program entitled “Transition to Success” with the Boys & Girls Club of Kingston, Ontario.

Sandra Lee

For over 20 years, Ms. Lee has worked with individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopaedic trauma, chronic pain, and mental health issues. She has experience working in Homecare in Calgary and British Columbia, assessing for specialized equipment, seating, and wheelchair needs for adults and adults with complex seating needs, as well as feeding and swallowing assessment and treatment.
Ms. Lee has been qualified as an expert in Functional Capacity Evaluations and Life Care Plans in the British Columbia Supreme Court and has qualified as an expert witness in Occupational Therapy and Functional Evaluations in a binding judicial resolution in the Province of Alberta.
While working in Northern British Columbia, Ms. Lee had a varied and busy private practice that required innovative and creative solutions to address the needs of rural British Columbians. During her tenure in Northern British Columbia, Ms. Lee developed specific expertise in vocational rehabilitation and ergonomic assessments within heavy industry (forestry, mining, oil & gas) and was part of a team that set up a work hardening program for WCB clients. Ms. Lee is a certified Life Care Planner and ARCON Evaluator, a trained Matheson FCE evaluator, and has been conducting assessments in the private rehabilitation field since 1999.

Valerie Brisebois

Ms. Brisebois is a registered and licensed occupational therapist in the province of Alberta. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from McGill University, School of Physical and Occupational Therapy in 2000.
Ms. Brisebois’ professional practice has been in both the public and private sectors. She worked in acute-care in hospital settings and community-based neurorehabilitation and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She also worked as a consultant for 12 years in Quebec providing independent assessments and treatment to clients involved in motor vehicle accidents and work-related accidents. Ms. Brisebois has experience in the areas of assessment including in-home, cognitive, attendant care, job site analysis, ergonomics, functional capacity evaluation, and cost of future care. She has been involved in numerous home adaptation projects, home safety promotion through recommendations of equipment and education, as well as work-site and ergonomics modifications.

Thierry (Tez) Lamvohee

Mr. Lamvohee is a registered and licensed physiotherapist in the province of Alberta. He received his Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in 2005. Since then, he has worked in both small rural hospitals and large teaching institutions in Sydney, Australia and Kelowna, BC. Mr. Lamvohee began working in private practice in 2007, taking a keen interest in orthopaedic injuries, concussions, and chronic pain. He spent 6 years as head physiotherapist at a traumatic brain injury rehabilitation and transition centre as well as establishing a community-based concussion management program.
Joining McGregor Berger & Associates as a valued member of the team in July of 2018, Mr. Lamvohee was recently accepted (June 2020) into the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Tez will continue to take on medical legal files and be available to provide opinions and guidance on your case files as he pursues his medical degree.

Adam Kucharski

Mr. Kucharski is a registered and licensed occupational therapist in the province of Alberta. He received his Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from McGill University, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Critical Disability Studies from York University.
Mr. Kucharski has experience as a private practice occupational therapist in both Ontario and Alberta, including working with individuals living with chronic pain, mental health disorders, as well as spinal cord and brain injury. While in Ontario, Mr. Kucharski also spent several years providing assessment services within the auto insurance sector, featuring Functional Capacity Evaluations, Driving Assessments, and Home Safety Assessments. After moving to Alberta, he helped create program standards and operational procedures while leading the opening of a new short-stay inpatient rehabilitation unit. He has continued to provide treatment and assessment with complex clients in an outpatient clinical setting, as well as becoming more involved in online course facilitation with the University of Alberta. Mr. Kucharski has recently received Advanced Certification as a Cost of Future Care/Life Care Planner.
